Do you commute along Keighley Road? You may have seen our chickens foraging in our meadow or even in Hawkcliffe Woods on Hawkcliffe corner. Our chickens are our own hybrids selected for their foraging skills and egg laying abilities.
The eggs have a mix of shell colours, mostly a medium size and the flavour and yolk colour is outstanding. We only supplement their natural foraging diet with non-GM seed and grain mix through the winter months, the rest of the time they are on their own.
We have an unpredictable supply of eggs but at the moment far more than our family can get through. When we have a surplus we like to offer our eggs to others. Our flock of 20 birds are laying on average 18 eggs a day!
Our eggs are £1.50 for 1/2 Doz (that's a box of 6!)

I will reply to confirm that the chickens have laid well and that the eggs are available to collect. I will organise a collection box and honesty box on the drive so you don't have to hang around. The first time you collect I will meet and greet you in order to show you where the box will be.
We are continually monitoring the flock for the those with the best laying and foraging characteristics and will naturally raise the next generation from these with our own broody hens.
