What we are up to in May....
Some brassicas are still producing edible shoots including kale, broccoli and brussel sprouts. We will leave some to go to seed to save for next years crop. As they interbreed we could have an interesting mix of plants all with edible leaves, shoots and stems.
The greenhouse is full of seed including our trials to develop mixed vegetable polycultures. We have been experimenting with pre germination in an attempt to get a crop of carrots this year.
